As we return to a land based role in the US, we continue to work as volunteers for OM Ships and are required to fund our costs of living through sponsorship and financial donations. We are extremely grateful to each and every person who is or has partnered with us in this practical way over the past five years we’ve served with the organization as a family.
We are seeking more financial partners to join us. Our support needs have gone up significantly and we must raise an additional $2500 per month. This increase is due to the high costs of health insurance (which we must fund ourselves), the higher cost of living on shore (as compared to a community of 400 and the bulk purchasing that affords) and additional fees we must cover. A commitment of just $25 per month will be a huge help in this and with 100 people contributing at this level we can see this need met. Of course larger or smaller commitments are appreciated and would change the number of people we need to see join us in this adventure.
