Snapshots of life at the Crowe’s Nest

Here is a video that was created by our team recently. It shares a few stories from our time in Guyana and also highlights the Help Packs that are a way anyone can be a part of the ship ministry.
Regarding Haiti and the need for help there, the ship leadership looked into many possibilities but based on the situation there it was decided it is not the right time for us to be there yet.
So after sailing from Aruba at midnight on Sunday, we are now safely in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We held the Official Opening this morning which went quite well except on of the Guests of Honour, the Mayor of Montego Bay, was not able to attend at the last minute. Both Holly and I attended this one as Holly hosted a Consular Agent from the United States who works here in Montego Bay. I was in my normal role of working alongside our Media Relations Officer to host the media guests who attended.
Altogether we will be in Jamaica for 9 weeks between this port and Kingston where we go in about 4 weeks. It will be a long visit but historically the people of Jamaica appreciate the opportunity to get books at good prices so we expect we will have a lot of people visit the ship during our time here.
